First, is he married? If he is you need to stop your lusting a.s.a.p. and get back to focusing on making money. Remember, it's not good to get your honey where you get your money--too complicated.
Secondly, it may just be infatution. Once you or he gets "it," you or he may not want it again. Listen, if you like your job, you seriously need to focus more on it.
Thirdly, if he isn't married---go for it, but make sure it's sorta mutual. He has the authority to fire you or get you for sexual harassment.

How young, how old, married, single, kids? ..these are all details I would need in order to better answer your question. Without them, I can only tell you that it's very very risky to consider expressing any feelings toward your boss while at work or even after hours. He is your boss and both you and he can get fired for having an affair, relationship, whatever. That would fall under a conflict of interest.

oh no that is not good, even if he felt the same imagine how awkward it would be if things didn't work out. Try hard to take your mind off him and if i was you i wouldn't admit this to anyone else you work with. I'm sure this feeling will pass
