Yes. Austria was formally absorbed into the German Reich proper, something like a Greater Germany. Hitler was Austrian by birth if you remember.
Austrians did serve in the Wehrmacht (army), Luftwaffe (air force), and all other Nazi German military and non military functions, but there weren't any specially designated Austrian units per se.

Austria ceased to exist as an independant country and became part of Germany. In consequence, former Austrian citizens, were subject to the same conscription rules as the rest of Germany.
It's worth noting that Hitler was Austrian, not German.

You are correct about Germany annexing Austria. Germany had Divisions and Special Troops "concentration and work camp" (no real difference there) from different countries. They primarily used Ukrainians for their camp guards, had Poles and Rumanians and who knows what other countries served in the German Forces.

As they were the first country to be "invited" to join the 3rd Reich of course they were, the Austrian military was absorbed into the German Werhrmact and served in many theatres of war.

Perhaps you misunderstand what "annexed" means. He took Austria over. During WWII there was no country called "Austria" they were all Germans.
