Why are people so cold towadrs Jesus-Yeshua? And why are they offended when someone even pronounces His name? He only did good to all mankind. Why do people look at people's failiars, and not let Jesus be their example. I tell you this would be a better place with Jesus example going around. Anastasia @yeshuastruth.com

Hi Anna,
I really believe it's because people don;t "physically" see God or Jesus Christ, so they aren'r respectful or afraid of him, but this is why God gave us faith to love him or not, when Jesus returns they will see and they will believe. the Lord God has said many times in the Bible "Then they shall know that I am the LORD." Check out Ezekiel, God speaks on how people do not respect him or his name. Here's a few .. take care!
Ezekiel 7:4 My eye will not spare you, I will have no pity. I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are among you. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.

Because many people who call themselves Christian have carried out the worst acts of persecution on this earth. Also, I think a lot of people resent proseletyzers. I think it was a misunderstanding of Jesus's teachings. He said go and spread the word about me. Some people took that way too far, believing that everyone on the whole friggin' planet needs to hear about Jesus and have a bible crammed down their throat, and anyone who believes otherwise is savage and backward. Most people don't like being told that their beliefs that they hold sacred are wrong - Lord knows the Christians don't.
I agree, I think Jesus was a great example. It's just too bad that many people calling themselves Christian don't follow that example. They're judgemental, holier-than-thou, and they proseletyze.

Because his followers have done some pretty bad things in his name, which gives him a bad name for those who don't take the time or effort to learn about what he taught or put his teachings into action.

Jesus goes by many names.
They all say how wonderful He is.
I try to live by His example.
I am NOT PERFECT by any means--but God knows I am trying.
