The question is, which two women are in for the suprise? Really quite a pity that more people can't see past their own idea of what is right and what is wrong when it comes to religion. They are correct on the fact that everyone is on the same path and that only by looking at what is similar can religions actually learn and grow and accept those of different faiths. It is sad that so many people are so closed-minded to others around them.
As for the Jews "denying" that Jesus is the son of G-d, the Jews denied that Jesus was the king of the Jews. I'm sure that if in the 1930's someone had come along and asked a group of Christians to accept that Hitler was the son of G-d, the majority (not all mind you) would have denied it.
Only time will tell.

its a good idea. everyone is always going to have differences. Islam believes jesus is a prophet, but they belive in the return of the Mandhi. Jews don't believe in that Jesus is the son of God. Jews and muslims and some strict christians have dietary laws that they follow. I think its a great idea. I'm sure that you and your friends don't agree on everything. If in order for you to have a friend they have to like everything you like and hate everything you hate. You wouldn't have many friends. You disagree with your parents probably and don't agree with everything they say. perspective is good. You never know how another person feels until you walk in their shoes. their not converting anyone. their learning about each other.

I know a Christian girl who is married to a Jewish friend of mine (now 21 years) and it is a great marriage. We all have differences, that is just one of their. I understand completely how that can and often does work. Seen it many times.
Also, not all Christians are trinitarians, many are unitarian.
We are individually accountable to God not as a pair so two people can care for each other and have different beliefs, most od anyway. My wife believes Adam and Eve existed, I do not. I see that as an allegorical representation of man and woman as they gained more carnal knowledge.
We do not fight over it and in the end it matter about the big stuff. Did you treat poeple as Jesus would REALLY have you do? Did you truly care for all regardless of differences?
God will not exclude us over dogmatic differences, he cares that we love each other and do what is right. Legalisms in religion are what cause conflict and religious wars.
Jesus was very tolerant of all not just people who agreed with him. He was commonly seen in the company of prostitues, lepers, shepherds, samaritians and many other folk of low social stature. But he cared for and loved them without regard to that. That is the model to follow.
Remember Christians, Jews and Muslims all believe in the the same God originally revealed to the Hebrew people.
There are many doors to heaven (In my father's house there are many mansions). No one has all the answers and no one is right about it all or really wrong about it all.

There is ONLY one way, and that is through Jesus....the RIGHT Jesus. If a religion takes Him out, or downplays who He is, then they have a false Jesus and worthless faith. There are alot of people in for a big surprise when they satnd judgement, and that is sad. Muslims do not have the same God, they have a false one pulled from a trash heap of over 350 others. JW's. Mormons, Roman Catholics, and more, all follow a false God.

Don't apply for membership in The Faith Club. They seem to be searching for common ground instead of fighting over differences.

People seem to forget what Jesus' stated PURPOSE was - in his own words - and that was to point mankind to God, and to the ways of God. All the peoples you mention are trying to do that in their own way. If you can't see that, and see beyond the labels, then I can't help you.

Wow, your tolerance and open-mindness is astounding. I'm not surprised at your reaction when you people argue over which day is the sabbath.

I have to agree with you........................the common ground for me is found in 1 John - that Jesus is Lord. I can't join up if the deity of Christ is in question.
I'd have to pass - no offense to them - but Jesus is God and everything hinges on that truth. How could we compromise on that?

I think the problem is that we are each trying to create God in our own image....isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
