It's not just about money. It's not about punishing the other parent. It's about what is best for the child.
He is the father, he has a responsability!

It doesn't matter how many other kids he has. He still needs to pay for your son. Take him to court and get an order for child support and visitation. Have it so the child support is garnished directly out of his paychecks. If you tell the judge that he has already told you that he would not pay they will do this. He will just have to go out and work a 2nd job if he doesn't make enough. He needs to also get a vasectomy so he quits breeding.

He is going to be broke. Yes you can get child support from him. Go to you local DHS, they should be able to help you. Where I am from, the state will pick it up once you fill out the papers and garnish his wages.. You should care about the child support too. It does not make you less of a mom. That support belongs to your child, it is owed. Child support is in no way a gift or something you should feel lucky about receiving, it is rightfully the child's. As for him wanting to take your son... he might be just talking crap, trying to scare and intimidate you. He doesn't have custody of the other two...sooo. But just in case, talk to DHS when you file for support and ask their advice.

He said that hoping that you would not file. As long as he keeps making kids he will have to support them. If he only ends up with $2 left after paying all his child support that is to bad. Go file for child support right away. Your child should not have to suffer.

Every parent has to financially support their children. Just because he pay support for 2 others does not mean you can not get a court order for one. He can seek full custody through the court, but he would have to have just cause to ask for your son's removal from your care.

That is not true. He has to pay support until the child is 18 years old. Go to the Department of Welfare and they have a child support unit. to assist you in filing the paperwork for him to pay. If he refuses to pay then they will automaticly deduct it from his pay. He made the child, not to mention the others. now he must pay for them.

thanks,
mike

No,

Tell the loser to find a good sturdy cardboard box. He is going to need it to live in. Because your child is also entitled to support. Get yourself a good attorney who specializes in this area of the law.

Good luck, your better off without him.
