Cape May is an expensive town to stay in - - even in the "off season" (they draw a crowd for the holidays as well as Valentine's Day). The more hotel-like places typically close during the colder months so your only option becomes B&Bs. The town is full of B&B's, some of which can be found here:

I would recommend Captain Mey's and Dormer House - I've stayed at both and loved them!!!

If you need something more affordably priced, again affordable will depend upon time of year. Look into Wildwood which is nearby (Wildwood Crest, North Wildwood, etc) and offers more hotel options.

And splurge by having dinner at The Lobster House - - it is worth every penny!!!!

Unfortunately, "reasonable" is tough to quantify. So, you should first find out which places are within your price range, then find out what others have to say about the places that you've chosen.

You can do a city-wide search here: http://www.resideo.com/us/newjersey/capemay/ -- click the "Check Availability" button, choose your dates, submit the form, then sort the results by price, that'll put the cheapest places first.

You can read about each, view pics and see which ones you like best.

Then, head over to tripadvisor.com and read reviews about each hotel you picked, find out which is the best one for you, then go back and book it online!

Hope that helps...Good luck and have fun!
