Apparently God sacrificed himself to himself to save us from a place he created.
HUH?
Oh yea, that makes sense. NOT!

In a word, yes.
Jesus died so that all the sins of men (and women) could be forgiven. And the key word there is *could*. If you sincerely ask for God's forgiveness, no matter how heinous the sin, it will be granted. Or that's always been my interpretation anyway, some people see it differently but then religion has always been open to interpretation.
And not all Christians believe that homosexuals are going to hell dear. Just the far right.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth as a man so He could die for "ALL" your sins if you would believe and trust in that. After you become a new creature and you should try not to sin anymore. 2 Corinthians 5: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Isn't that amazing? He gave his life for all sin great and small. If it is considered a sin...Jesus died for it. So you and I through our faith in his rising from the dead on the third day could live. So repent of your sins daily and believe that he has risen and sits at the right hand side of our Lord God.

JC died for anyone willing to accept him and his sacrifice. If you accept JC - then you proove it by following his example and the laws set in the Bible. By purposefully committing a sin after supposedly accepting JC, you are proving that you don't accept him. It's like signing a lease saying you won't smoke in the residence, and when you smoke and get kicked out, you really can't blame anyone but yourself for smoking. You signed the lease - you were warned. Now you have to suffer the consequences.
JC did not die for specific sins - he died for the people - mankind in general - to have an opportunity at another life.

Jesus died for all sinners (all of us). this doesn't mean that we can continue in our sin, his blood gives us the power to be free from sin and have relationship with God. He died so that we may have a choice, what we do with it is up to us. my question is why is it so difficult to accept a free gift? c'mon everyone like free!

Jesus paid the penalty of death for those who accept the atonement.
Those who accept this atonement are then by faith made new and in agreement with God's righteousness.
All sin is to fall short of the glory of God there are no good sins.
Edit I think you are missing the point Jesus did not die for sin he died for sinners and we are all sinners. The atonement allows God to righteously perfect his creation in his righteousness. You are not your sins but a man who has sinned and need salvation to join you to a righteous God.
If you consider your sins better than anyones you deceive yourself and are a hypocrite there are no good sins all sin is death.

Yes, Jesus died for all sins...
That is why Christians strive to give up all their sins.
Think about it.

Jesus died because of sin. It was our sins that hanged Him on that cross and killed Him. Each one of us is responsible for His death because we all sin. Jesus Christ took on Himself the punishment for sin which is justly ours. Any sinner can repent, turn to God for mercy and receive salvation and eternal life, regardless of the sin -except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ died in order to reconcile us back to our Creator because sin has separated us from Him. If a homosexual is truly a Christian then he ceases to be a homosexual. Repentance means to change your mind, to change directions and go the opposite way. If an individual continues to wilfully sin and live in sin then he/she has not repented and thus is not saved and on his/her way to hell. If that same individual repents of his/her sin and receives God's free gift of salvation then they are saved from God's judgement -hell

The sins he died for were not specified and a person's heart condition determines if they are forgiven or not.
