christians believe in god, and jesus, and satan, and all of those beings.
but why do they find things such as the mothman, bigfoot, nessie, mokele mbembe, and the chupacabras so hard to believe?
these beings are just as fathomable as a spirit that created all life on earth right?

When the Mothman comes down to earth, fulfills 300 prophesies, is killed and resurrected and appears after the resurrection to more than 500 people, and 2,000 years later picks me up out of a grave and hands me a brand new life, then I'll believe in the Mothman. Until then I'm happy to know Jesus.

Don't group all into any one group, if you do, you'll always be in error.
First off, I am no christian but am a minister of YHWH. I have no denomination for G_D has no denomination.
Next, being a Native Indian I easily believe in Bigfoot. For my ancestors have thousands of stories and tales about this creature. And if you know true Natives... they do not lie.
Living in Ohio river valley, and growing up around the Mothman legend. Plus studying the legand myself and reading up on Native Indian stories. That too I believe, for Mothman has been reported world wide. There is just 1, even seen him on a video clip. And once you see him leap from an antenna and take flight.. you'll realize he is true too.
Nessie... I can believe is real. For almost weekly somewhere on earth we still to this day find new species of animals and plants. Even the one fish they thought was dead for millions of years was found alive and well off Africa in 1997. Even the giant squid was just a rummor till they looked under the ice caps and documented them at up to 45' long.
No clue what the mokele mbembe is, sorry.
Chupacabras I am still studying here n there. Some think they are animal others think they are demons or a form of fallen angels. I myself am unsure as I do not have enough studies so far. But since other creatures are coming back from the past, such as the Thunderbirds. Then this creature the chupacabras might be just one as well.
I use to be an atheist of 30 yrs... today though I am a minister. For I do think outside the box.... but till I aged I was never able to think far enough out to grasp " G_D ".

Not necessarily all Christians believe that those kind of things never existed. I do not believe in everything you wrote, but there are these things written in the old testament about (Genesis 6:4)Nephilites which may have been referring to giants. There were also dinosaurs, it is read in Job. Interesting question. I watched a program about odd true stories on discovery that had many strange people back in the day. There was a lady with a strange defect in her body that caused here feet to become very huge(big foot?). Could you imagine what the world would be like if people did not know what they know now, so they can prevent these defects...there was even a man with three legs. This was really crazy.
If anything the bible has broadened my perspective on that kind of thing.

I'm a Christian...and I believe every legend has a kernel of truth to it.
Dinosaurs did exist alongside man...they were created when the other animals were. The vast majority of them died out after the Flood--but I have heard rumors of dinosaurs still being seen in Africa. Nessie might actually be a dinosaur.
There were also giants (see Genesis 6), and there are still people today who are born with six fingers--a genetic throwback.

I'm Christian and I don't believe in Jesus - or at least that he was the son of God. That's pretty presumptuous to think one single mortal man could be the son of something that big or unknown. I mean what about all those raccoons and other animals out there...you don't see them worshiping the son of the raccoon god or anything. And they don't have a Racoon Yeti to tell fireside stories about lol!
Oh well, whatever helps people grasp such a non graspable concept. Satan? Sheez that's another silly waste of time. If there is proof - real proof that some of the critters you mention exist - then I'll believe. Otherwise, they too seem like fun story characters.

I have seen Jesus work in my own life. I believe that the Bible is not just written by man but by men inspired by God. But the stories of Bigfoot Nessie etc are all by non inspired men

Jesus has been proven to exist.
and he fulfilled the prophecies of the bible.
From the Old Testament alone, more than 2000 specific prophesies have been fulfilled.
No other so called Holy book compares. Most of the 333 prophesies concerning the Messiah were fulfilled by the birth and life of Jesus Christ and the rest will be fulfilled at His second coming. A mathematician, Peter Stoner, had his graduate students calculate what the odds would be of any one person fulfilling just eight of these prophesies. He found the chance was one in 100,000,000,000,000,000 !Only a God who knows the future could have revealed these prophesies to those that He would have record them in His Word.

I'm not one of those Christians who do that. I think that it's most likely that there are creatures that we don't know about yet. Not only on land and in the sea, but deep in the Earth- the places where we haven't gone yet.

Many Christians believe in them too.
There is less evidence to support these creatures existence than there is evidence of Christ's existence
