And are the light (brake and signal)wires for a hook up already there from factory and im looking in the wrong place?
I wont be pulling over 1800 lbs

you can get the best deal on a hitch through advance auto parts,and any good repair shop,can install it and hook up the wiring for you,go with the plug in wiring harness they work a lot better,and will last a lot longer also,good luck with it.

If your truck isnt pre wired than it will be a bit more & are you going to need electric brakes control> Call around and get prices>>

Go to U-Haul or one of their dlrs., they're quick and fairly inexpensive. Your truck may not have a light connector plug installed yet, but it only takes about five minutes. If you don't have a U-H near, try an RV dlr.

check the walmart stores you can buy it there it is cheaper and some they install it too !!
