I want to know how to properly say, "Good?" or "Very good?" in both languages. I emphasized the question mark because I want it to be like a question. Is it, "Bien?" ...or something else? Basically, I'm trying to ASK if it is good or good enough... thanks!

In French, you say 'bien' if you mean it's fine, it's ok, well done. C'est bien. While "C'est bon" would be used for food but could also be used when meaning you understood, a bit in a derogative way, like in 'fine, fine, I get it' C'est bon, c'est bon,

You said you would like to know how to ask if something is good or is good enough in French. Here are the answers to your question as well as further information about when to use each. Good day! :-)

Good? (C'est bon?)
Full phrase: Is it good? (Est-ce que c'est bon?)
Good enough? (C'est assez bon?)
Full phrase: Is it good enough? (Est-ce que c'est assez bon)

Well? (C'est bien?)
Full phrase: Is it done well? (Est-ce que c'est bien fait?)
Well enough? (C'est assez bien?)
Full phrase: Is it done well enough? (Est-ce que c'est assez bien fait?)

If you would like to know how to say "very" instead of "enough"; you simply substitute the word "très" for the word "assez". Très means very and assez means enough.
