The bible has been made into many many movies. Mel Gibson never played Jesus but he did make a movie of Jesus. A very Good one. Yes you can say it sucks but you can not deny the ratings.

If the Bible was a movie, wow.
Besides being a LONG movie, Jesus would only be in it for 15 minutes, tops.
I can see Jesus played by James Caviezel again. He did a good job before.

They would have to make it into a miniseries. A single movie wouldn't cover it.
I think the guy who played Jesus in "King of Kings" was really good, but he's probably really old now.

I would rather have it put to good use and made into a fantasy role-playing game. It would need to allow you to choose a campaign as either Jesus or Satan, and you could cast spells like level 10 crosses, and phoenix down.
