I have an online business but I didnt made any profit on it. I made a sale of 600$ all of them are sold to out of state customer? Do I have to pay state sales tax?

If your sales were all to out of state customers, you don't have to pay in any sales tax since you didn't collect any. You might still have to file a sales tax return, though, showing the zero amount.

the customer would pay the sales tax, not you. You only collect sales tax and submit it to the sales tax dept monthly or quarterly - it doesn't sound to me you know what you're doing when it comes to taxes - did you even get all your tax ID's with fed, state and local setup?

Did you actively solicit sales in these other states? Or, did you only solicit sales through your website?

If you didn't actively solicit sales in these other states, then you don't need to collect sales tax.
