Experian will let you have a free credit file . But you have to register a debit card with them for a monthly report . So if a monthly reports not what you want just cancel it straight away . That's what i did.

Don't do freecreditreport.com !!!
It's a scam.
They will pull your credit report for free, but in order for you to see it, you have to sign up for a service which involves fees. You then have to make numerous phone calls and be put on hold for a length of time to get rid of the services. Supposedly, they refund the start up fee (something like 30 bucks) if you call to cancel within 30 days. I called to cancel as soon as I printed out my credit report (same day), and I could not get the charge removed.

This is alittle sneaky, but to get a absolutley free look at your credit report, apply for a mortgage. They will look up your credit score and you will not be charged. Then, flake on them and say that you are not interested. I worked for a mortgage company, and the company paid for the credit reports. Iwill suggest not to apply at low.com or lending tree, as you will get multiple people trying to call you. Go to countrywide, they
are a singular company, so you will be dealing with only one
person. They will look up your info, and they will also pay for the report. Also, know this, once you check your credit score, you take a bump on your rate. Once they check your report, it legally is yours, and you should ask for them to email it to you.
Good luck!

i run my credit report once a year with www.annualcreditreport.com its absolute free. However if you want to see your credit score you pay a fee, but you can see what companies are reporting about you and how much you owe on your credit.

You can run your report for experian, transunion and equifax seperately.

No- freecreditreport.com transfers you to Experian and they need your credit card details - if we had a credit card we wouldn't need a credit check, it is free for the first 30 days and then they update you each month.
