Do you like what you do? I like the profession that I'm in, but of course there are definitely days when it's hard to stay focused. What to do? Make a list of things you need to accomplish that day. Or take a break and relax, sometimes you may be stressed out and you just want to yell at someone (sometimes I want to this, but can't).

Trying to stay motivated at work depends on the work environment that you're in really. You can add things to make you happy like photos of fun events with the people/animals you love the most, change the way you do things at least once a month because change keeps thing interested for awhile, and find what made the job enjoyable when you first started working there and bring it back in your day-to-day activities.

Make a list at the beginning of the day of things that you would like to accomplish. Check them off one by one. The sense of accomplishment will make you feel important. If you don't like your job, it is hard to stay motivated. Why not try beefing up your resume and looking for a new job on www.careerbuilders.com. I once hated the job before this one, I had it for 3 years. What I hated was the pay and the politics, so I decided it was time for a change. It has changed my life and made everything soooo much better! :)

First, make sure you are in a position and/or career path that you want to be. Work needs no motivation if it is something you really want to do. Check out learntosucceed.biz , I use to recommend them to individuals who needed career advice when I was a hiring manager in business.

It has to fit in to a bigger, inspiring plan. If it doesn't then go find a job that does.

Even if it just pays the bills whilst you get ready for soemthing else, focus on the else. Staring at the wall wondering why will kill you eventually.
