Has she been to the vet to rule out health issues or broken bones? If that comes up negative, consider this: I had a Russian Blue cat that meowed incessantly her whole life. She just loved the sound of her own voice, she had no health problems and loved me very much. Try getting her toys and catnip and things to occupy her, but if she doesnt want to be handled I tend to think of a health problem. Look into it, also get her spayed that will calm her down.

A lot of times female cats are much more vocal than males. Cats have unique personalities and you might have just wound up with a yeller.
Another theory could be that she is close to being in heat. However, if she is spayed this would not be a possibility...and then she just likes to make herself heard.
A suggestion might be getting her a friend. Of course, that all depends on if you can and are able to afford it.
It might be a good idea to take her into the vet just to make sure she doesn't have some sort of disease.

female cats do like to hear themselves.....as long as she's healthy that's likely all it is---unless she's not fixed!
i would have her spayed, she's a good age for it right now. make sure she has some toys & a scratching post. there's also stuff called Happy Cat that's an additive to their water that can help calm down overactive or bad tempered cats...you could give it a try, i have no exp with it tho to give a testimonial.

Could be going into heat, get her spayed asap!!
I have an orange boy who loves to talk. He is 8, neutered, very sweet, but loves to talk. We, as crazy cat parents, can carry on a conversation with him. When we went to Hawaii for 10 days, he talked straight for about 2 weeks when we were back. Guess he had a lot to tell us!
But your girl probably needs spaying. She's at the right age.

She us being a cat.. 1969 we mated our Persian with the neighborhood Siamese. We did not get one Himalayan.
We had one kitten solid black with a white patch on her neck. from the day of her first meow, she didn't shut up. She had the Siamese Meow with every step she took until the day she passed of old age. Not only that, she beat up dogs.
