I try to avoid chemically altered food products. Especially Spenda. There haven't been ANY long term studies done on the effects of this sweetner on humans.
I would definatley cut down on the intake, if not cut it out all together

Probably, but most research on this topic has been suppressed by the manufacturer. Splenda is manufactured by removing three hydrogen atoms from a sugar molecule and replacing them with chlorine. Chlorine is a poison, carcinogen, and neurotoxin.

The following links about artificial sweeteners are informative and objective.

Many people consider Stevia to be the best available sugar substitute.

It is available in packets and a liquid drop. This product is much sweeter after it has dissolved into water. The drops are much quicker to use since the Stevia is pre-dissolved.

The best to use if you must is brown sugar - it will add calories but its not gona poison your body.
There havent been enough studies done on new products that come out on market because it takes more than 10-15 years to do that and see what they do to body.
Some of the oldest sweeteners (anything artificial) really have been said to cause cancers.

What Mitijan has said is not relevant.

Splenda is NOT an artificial sweetner. It is a chlorine-treated form of sugar.

Too much of anything isn't good for you.
Is that amount allot for me? Yes because I don't use sugar. However it maybe fine for you.
