I doubt it makes you a nerd. It's just a preference of what television programming appeals to you.

The channels I watch the most are either Discovery or National Geographic, unfortunately History International is not provided by the cable service here, so let me say how much I envy you! If it were, I'd be watching it regularly too.
Are we nerds? No, I don't think we are - Reality TV is fairly empty of any deeper meaning, you just realize the potential for television as an educational tool. Sadly, for many others, including some of my family members, it is just a toy to amuse themselves to death with.

NO... it doesn't mean you are a nerd... it means you have a brain and want to improve it... and, even if you ARE a nerd... SO WHAT? I have always had an interest in history so us nerds have to stick together.

I have never heard someone put those two words together. If you watch thing's like waring states, and military strategy, your far from it.
