People in every culture throughout history have believed their gods were the only ones. Temples, pyramids, statues, wonders of the world have been built in their honor and thousands have been slaughtered in their name. None of them have survived throughout the entire history of mankind. What makes you think the god you currently believe in is different and won't be replaced in the future?

I don't think my gods are the only ones. I plan to build no temples, pyramids, statues or wonders. I plan to slaughter none. I don't care if my devotion ends with me; it's not my responsibility to be The conduit between anyone else and Deity, finding and manifesting compassion is a fine and lasting challenge for me. I am sure my own beliefs will continue to change over time, and that no one will ever duplicate my beliefs and understandings exactly.

:) May all sentient beings achieve compassion and peace.

I have prayed and the holy spirit has borne witness of the truthfulness of the gospel to me. As I study more and learn more about my gospel, the spirit continues to testify that it is true. It also makes sense to me.

In James it says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not."

Asking of God is really the only way to know the truth.

My religion, LDS,has the Book Of Mormon, at the end there is a scripture that says-

"And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. " Moroni 10:4-5

That is how I know the truth. I have prayed and the spirit and manifest it to me.
