can you still get a pimple if theres a tattoo there?

Yes, and they will scar your tattoo. It is very important to take care of your skin after you get a tattoo because if your tattoo scars a lot it will look terrible!

you don't need to put anything on it. what do you think people do when they get tattoos on other places that are hidden by clothing (i.e. breasts, or lower back)? you can't walk around naked, and your tattoo still needs to breath, so a bandage is not the best idea. your shirt won't really be rubbing it- it will more like brush against it. the water in your shower is much more "violent" than that, and as you should well know, you are still supposed to shower with a new tattoo.

Yes ... it happens all the time ... pimples, bug bites, scabs, scars ... and sometimes the area will get a little more irritated because of the ink ... a little puffy, itchy, or raised ... all normal and it will all fade with time ... !

Yes...I have a tattoo on the back of my neck and I'll get a zit on it every now and then...good thing is, you can't really see the zit on the tat.

i havent really gotten any big, painful pimples where i have a tattoo. i have gotten a little bump or two, like bug bites. but nothing painful. weird huh? although i dont usually get pimples on my back or neck or ankle...i am pretty sure you can still get pimples...a tattoo doesnt fill in your pores...i dunno weird.

yes you can. the only difference in the skin is that the pigmentation is altered.
