Most yes, unless it's a time released pill. If you cut those in half, they won't be time-released anymore because the protective coating that slows their release has been cut. Most others are fine to cut.

there are some pills that are controlled by time. You should not split those pills. they are usually referred to as controlled release.

depends on the pill, some are enteric coated and not meant to be split, some are made differently and also not meant to be split, suggest you ask the pharmacist at your local drug store if your specific drug can be split.
