Because the "Seven Deadly Sins" are just human nature. There's nothing really wrong with any of them, unless you obsess too much over one of them. If you look at each of their opposites, you'll find that they are bad if obsessed to much, too. Gluttony is bad, but so is starving yourself. Being always wrathful is bad, but so is always being placid.
All of the "sins" are virtues when taken in moderation. This is why sin is an outdated concept. Instead of blindly following old lists, think about what is right or wrong for any given situation. Don't expect the world to fit your cookie cutter outlook on life. We all have different histories and take different roles in society. We should try to find commonality to get along, but we don't have to be clones of each other to work well with each other.

you so know the 7 deadly sins are man-made, right?
anyways, anyways, it says in Mathew (somewhere, i just started reading the new testament cover to cover) that when someone slaps you, turn the other cheek. when someone demands you of your robe, give him your cloak as well. then someone demands you to walk a mile, walk 2 miles. etc.
it's an acquired trait form being trustworthy to god

Why should people try to control themselves when "committing wrath?" "God" didn't.
