If we went through a list of every god imagined by humans and gave reasons why we dismissed them, when we got to yours, these reasons would, presumably, not apply.

Why is this?

First I can't agree with the term "dismissed" . Some just don't have followers any more. Some are worshipped by small numbers. The Norse pantheon for instance still has followers, even though it's not a mainstream religion. There are countless pagans all over the world that worship the Gods you say are dismissed.
Gods by their very nature would not need a human to validate them. They either are or they are not....Whether you believe or not is up to you. but I think it is important to respect the rights of others to have freedom of religion.

Notice how none of the believers answer the question.

What is there difference between dismissing the gods of all other cultures and religions, and dismissing yours?

Ans: There is no difference. There is exactly the same degree of evidence for the Christian god as there ever was for any of the other gods humans have worshipped over the millenia.

Any God which can be imagined is imaginary... The only possible thing/being that can rightly be called God must exceed anyone's imagination, or comprehension, or it's less than the imaginer, and hence Idol worship.

It's kinda like science, an on going process of discovery, which is good, cause otherwise we'd stagnate, and non-existence would be equal to or better than stagnation.

That's my 2 cents.

God bless.

PS Buddhism calls "God" the unborn and uncreated, it does not give personality to it, but does not deny it either.

Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race

I am assuming you mean those from the big three.
My gods worry about those who belong to them. Those they have called. I do not doubt other gods exist. It would be rather silly not to since I believe in so many of them. They just have nothing to do with me.

Great question.

It reminds me of this quote:

"When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

I don't use such lists. No other God sent a son who rose from the dead who fulfilled over 100 prophecies that were spoken before He was born.

Apparently a lot of people believe that the more popular something is, the more it is validated. Which is odd, considering that all past religions were once wildly popular too.

Revelation. Without revelation there is no God.
Those who love and seek the truth receive a gift called faith and through faith the receive revelation from God and a personal relationship with him.

as long as he is the one God the Creator then i believe in him, it's when they give human beingsa position as associates or as a son or as daughetrs or others that i know they're talking wrongfully about God.
