don't use heat. Wait until tv is cold, then scrape gently (maybe with plastic spatula)

To take wax off I normally just use an sharp craft knife or something like that. You can take the tip of the blade and just start to wedge it under the wax, and it usually just pops up. However, the type screen your are describing could easily be damaged with a knife blade, so I'm not sure that I would try that.

If you are willing to risk it and can be very careful, you could try it. Or, you could try using a butter knife, it would be as sharp, so you are less likely to damage the screen, but it is still possible. Anything that is thin should be able to get under there to knock it off the screen... I don't think a hair dryer is a good idea, because that is just going to melt the wax. When the wax is cool and dry it should come off in one piece.

I'm not sure if you know anyone that works on tv's, you may consider that as well. It may be a problem they have already taken care of and know a safe and easy way to get it off.

the perfect thank you to locate the perfect products to your hair is to purpose all of them. that must be particularly high priced yet bypass over to a friends dwelling house and use a number of her stuff. See the way it works, and only save attempting new issues. Hair would artwork with products from this organization and not that organization....it is all trial and blunder. If i will recommend something, i could recommend you attempt a warm oil treatment....for a greater low priced thank you to have great soft and silky hair with much less frizzies, heat up some olive oil (conventional cooking stuff) interior the microwave and rubdown it into your hair on the same time as this is dry. Wrap it up in a heat towel from the drier and sit down for an hour or so. maybe provide your self a facial on the same time. Then get interior the bathe, and shampoo out all of the oil (because of fact water won't get the oil out--oil and water do no longer mixture) and then subject your hair. Viola! fascinating silky hair. the main key concern to retaining your locks is to stay removed from all warmth. Yep, meaning no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron the two....it is totally difficult to no longer advert to those products yet only attempt it for each week. do no longer blow dry your hair for each week....attempt it. i are conscious of it is hard to no longer yet once you reside removed from issues with warmth along with blow driers, curling irons, straightners, etc....you will see a extensive substitute interior the texture and look of your hair. it's going to be so lots greater healthful.

that is a Fresnel screen and most likely you have damaged the screen with the wax.

Your best bet is to have a service tech see what he can do. Heat, solvents and scrapping are all bad ideas since these can really damage a screen.

If you still have your original manual, check that for suggestions. If not, find out the manufacturer of your TV and go to their web-site. There should be instructions there for cleaning the screen. If they allow certain solvents to be used, one of those might be able to remove it for you. If not, they should have an email to the tech department there that might have suggestions for you.
