I've met a wonderful man whom I will be married to next Feb. 14th. He's told me that he gets headaches and normally wakes up with them but that they can also come later on too. Sometimes they are beyond what Ibuprofen can do. Come to find out, countless thousands have been spent testing and doing things to no avail. This has been since 5th grade he says and he is 38 now. They are always right in the middle of the forehead above the nose. Anyone have any thoughts? this really bothers and scares me.

headaches like this are usually coming from the back of your neck. I recommend your fiancée sees a chiropractor, acupuncturist or massage therapist. I recommend a chiropractor first because they will do a complete analysis of the spine. I have seen people with headache problems like this cured through alternative methods.

if he's been to the doc enough then they've probably already done an MRI to check for a brain tumor - that'd be your biggest concern. some people just get headaches.. for no particular reason, and it's just about finding the right solution that fits for your body. For me - it's meds with caffiene, excedrin migrain or midol (not just for cramps anymore). They have a combination of ibprofen, acetometophen and caffiene which opens up the blood vessels in the base of your neck which constrict often causing the headache.
anyway - as long as he's mentioned them to a doctor he should be fine.

Sounds like you could have a little case of the flu or a virus. I've felt that way many times when I am getting sick especially with something like the flu or strep throat which usually starts off with a flu or cold for me. Forgot to mention- If you are stressing, tension headaches can start in your neck and move to surround your whole head, sometimes worse than others.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drugs,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
His excessive liver might have resulted in constipation or inflammation of intestines, hence this problem.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Could come from TMJ, tooth grinding in sleep, or dental problems. Has he talked to a dentist about this?
