doesnt that mean that Christians have something in common with hitler? I wont go so far as to say they should look up to him, or make him a saint for trying to erradicate all gays or anything...but...christians have at least one thing in common with the guy.

Muslim kills Gays. Hitler killed Gays.
Some Christians who are wrong hate Gays. I am Bi and I don't hate Gays. Yet I'm a Christian, alive in a country where it would be against the law to kill a person for being Gay.
The Muslims, along with Hitler, kill them and support laws that allow the killing of Gays.
So I think that your statement has a rather obvious blind spot.

Hitler stirred up the people's hatred and anger against gays, which led slowly, to the concentration camps!
The christians stir up resentment and anger against gays, leading to more prejudice and in some cases, death!
Yes, they do have some things in common!!

It's a bit of a stretch to say that Christians don't like gays. Christians don't like homosexuality but that doesn't mean that they hate gays.

It is possible to compare Hitler to many people, many different ways, not just the Christians. At least Christians don't stone or hang a person for being gay.
