Not really, he wouldn't have the objectivity or 'distance' needed. I should point out that counselor's, therapists, psychiatrists etc are all meant to have counseling with somebody else due to the stressful nature of their jobs. They aren't meant to counsel themselves and that's when they are not ill. So yeah, a definite no to this one.

any doctor or psychologist that treats himself has a fool for a patient.
