I find illustrator to be very annoying, I edit my artwork with illustrator and want to send them online. but when I want to save them, it saves as an adobe file. I tried renaming it, but all it says is, "leroyjenkins.jpg.ai" I cant convert it.
Can you guys help me illustrator?

Instead of File>Save As, you need to go to File>Save For Web, then you can change the image format.

there is a great program called Streamline by adobe that takes bitmapimages from photoshop and converts them to vector- it may be out of circulation though- not sure if you can do it directly from photoshop- sorry- but look for streamline

Sounds like you need a converter program. Just changing an extension does not make a file a different format.
