If you know the truth is going to hurt somebody do you still tell them? And would it be okay to do it anonymously?

The truth hurts but it is always better to tell the truth no matter what, a lie hurts worse than the truth. When you tell someone the truth in the long run you'll feel better because you won't have the guilty concience of telling a lie.

It depends on what it is. Did they ask you? Then yes tell the truth! What is your motive to tell them the truth? Is it in love? Would you want to be told this truth? You should not do it anonymously, it looses credibility.

Depends. Not many details here. Does the person *need* to know? Is it an issue of health or safety?
And if they really need to know, why be anonymous?

Absolutely.....
I come here Monday through Friday proclaiming the truth of the gospel......and it hurts people sometimes.
But it will never stop me. I'd much rather people be annoyed with me and hear the truth rather than like me alot and never hear it.
