If a person has Gods kingdom as first in their life it means that they are living in harmony with it , and what its purpose for the future is.

So the real question is , what is Gods Kingdom.?

Gods kingdom is the heavenly government ruled by his son Jesus Christ that will soon destroy all of which opposes God and true worship.

Not only this but it will also be responsible for abyssing Satan and his demons so that they cannot interfere with Gods plan for man any more.

It will right all of the wrongs , expose all of the religious lies and be the tool to being mankind back to a perfect state on a paradise earth.

So we must ask ourselves , is MY life course in line with correct Bible truths and active in promoting this kingdom of God as the only bright future prospect for me and mankind, or is my life centered on my own pursuits and desires. ?

If it is in line with Bible truth and in harmony with Gods will for man , the scripture promises that God will provided us with the things that we need.

Not Feraris or Lambo's of condo's , but the things that we really need.

If you read the entire passage it will be clearer. It addresses people's concerns about the future and needs. Many people have things like clothes and food now, but how will they get them later? What if something bad happens? What if they lose everything? What if? What if? What if???
Just as God takes care of the animals and plants, he can take care of us. Faith is a daily walk, not plans for the future. The future is not here and the past is just a memory. All we have is the present. All throughout Scripture you will see how God wants to have faith in him. God provided manna for the wandering Jews and didn't want them to save any (except for the Sabbath). Psalm 119:105 says that "Thy [God's] word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
It does not say that His word is a spotlight that shows the destination, but a light we can use daily to stay on the path and keep from falling. If we do that God can take care of us.

If you read some of the verses before this one and after it, you can get the full message. We don't need to worry about how we are to get things in life, such as clothing or food. If we seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, He will take care of those things. In other words, live for God and He will bless you with the things you need in your life. Stressing about how you will take care of your future needs is not what God desires one to be about. Focus on righteoutness instead.

The kingdom of God is the spiritual. You seek to be controlled by the spirit and Gods blessings and righteousness will flow from you.

The Kingdom of heaven is physical. What we gain physical will burn up if it is not for God.

it means you are to put God 1st before all things in your life.
if you put God as your #1 priority, you will do what's necessary to be "born again" as Jesus & the apostle peter taught (acts 2:38, john 3). Jesus said in john 3:5 you CANNOT enter the Kingdom unless you are born of the water AND the Spirit (w/ the evidence of speaking in tongues as God gives you the ability - acts 2:4).
after receiving the Holy Ghost, you find it much, much easier to live for God b/c He gives you the power to live in the Spirit & to overcome the sin of the flesh.

you must seek His righteousness... meaning, you overcome the sins of your flesh. you truly ask yourself ... what would Jesus do in this situation???
would He speak these words?
would He watch this movie/ tv show??
what would Jesus do w/ His time??
would Jesus approve of these clothes i am wearing??
if you don't how Jesus would react, then you need to study the NT Gospels & find out about what Jesus taught & how he EXPECTS us to live holy.

there is much more to being a born again Christian than being baptized w/ water & w/ His Spirit.
it is not a set of rules... it is a new way of life.
your old man (life before salvation) is dead ... you become a new creature.
if your life does not change, you were NOT born again.
think about it.
you will find that it's worth it. you will love the new you & your new life.
besides, there's no other way to live eternally in God's Kingdom.
i don't know about you, but i will do whatever is necessary to ensure i spend eternity in the presence of the LORD.

In words of today: Don't look at God as your sugar daddy. He doesn't want you to try to get close to Him just to get the things He can provide for you. Get close to Him because you love Him and seek a personal relationship with Him. In doing this, everything that you need and want will be given to you.

It means: Get your priorities right. Look at the preceeding verses. Many people are too concerned with the material things in life and spend 100% of their time and energy in chasing after the latest, greatest thing. Jesus was saying: Put God in the first place in your life and He will provide you with everything you NEED, because He knows that you need them.

God bless you.

Take it in context. If you read two verses back you'll see, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." (Matt 6:31-32, KJV)

In other words, if you concentrate on serving God, He will provide all the things you need to survive.

Jesus said, The kingdom of God is within you...so, seeking the kingdom, is to seek to have it within you more than you have it at this time...which is an indicator that there is more to be gotten, and more God desires to give to us of Himself...so, in doing this, He will be sure to "add" or give these things, (food, shelter, clothing, desires of your heart,) to you and you won't even have to ask...because you are doing what He desires of you, and in this...you are "in His Will"....

It means that if you seek after God and follow his will for your life then you will not have to worry about food or shelter because God will provide it.
