Thx for your response guys. But this guy says -

"You transfer the funds to an eBay account. After they check the payment they announce me to start the shipping.
After you will receive the car and see that is ok, you have to announce them that you have it. Only after you will test the car, eBay will release me the funds.
You ll receive the car with a US clear title and also signed by me."

Will eBay have ownership in this kind of an out of country deal?

Also, askd him where the car is right now so that someone could come & take a look at it for which he says -

"The car is already in a crate with all the papers. It is stored to a cargo terminal in London and they are only waiting for my call with the buyer's name and address. The agent who will manage the delivery to your door will give you in hand all documents from the car."

He's given the VIN number which I ran up in Carfax and it does have a clean slate. But, I cant find out who the owner is.

Too dicy a deal???

WALK AWAY!!! This is one of the oldest scam's around. Ebay does not participate in helping sellers that have not listed on their site. He will take your money and run. DON'T do it!!!

yes. it is. Anytime you see a vehicle, especially a motor cycle, but any vehicle and the owner has the vehicle in another country, they alwys say "send the money to my account and I'll send you the vehicle", it is a scam. There is no way to get your money back when you don't get the vehicle.
