I am so glad a mensa giant like youself is around to advise us on national security policies.

You can send the combined military troops of 100 countries over to Iraq to increase troop strength. But if all they're going to do is stand there and scratch their butts, the insurgents will never crawll back into their holes.
And I can tell you that, as a veteran, it never really mattered WHERE we were sent, just how we were limited in how to do our jobs. Bringing troops back home is a nice thing, but then it just becomes a civilian job and that's not what most of them signed up for.

A) Unnecessary to whom?
b)The Invasion of a Iraq was a success. In less than a month with few losses we defeated a major army & took it's Captiol. Find another military operation of that size that was better???
c) Home to do what? Libs keep saying bring the troops home. I ask for what purpose? We don't train for years and years not to use them. They are doing the job just fine thank you very much. They are needed there, not polishing boots in Ft. Hood.
d) Bad guys just don't quit because you do. They will see it as weekness. It would embolden them to spread to other states. It also tells our Allies that when the heat gets hot, we leave them to die.... So why be a US ally?

Yeah, and then what do you think those that oppose the US over there will do, ignore us? Eventually they will go back to their caves and plan additional attacks on America at home. We can't just bury our heads in the sand, I agree going over their was a bad choice but the reality is we are there and we are responsible for how the situation progresses. Leaving is not a responsible way of ending the conflict and is not a solution.

Just do one thing, don't you DARE say anything when we are attacked again, not one word...if you do, people will laugh at you for calling this a "stupid mistake." Why don't you go there and take the place of my family that is fighting so you can make stupid comments like that?

i became incorrect to vote for this conflict. regrettably, i will ought to stay with that consistently. And the lesson I found out from it particularly is to place extra faith in my very very own judgment. John Edwards a minimum of he can admit while he makes a mistake.

Another mindless, useless liberal rant swallowing the standard democrat rant. Wake up... educate yourself and learn the FACTS, and begin to THINK for yourself.

The mistake made in Iraq was not invading ALL of Arabia- that and trying to fight under liberal rules.
