All you need with that is a nice salad and some garlic bread. Sounds so good!

Does the recipe have any meat in it? A spaghetti dinner can hold its own if you make it a meat sauce (just brown some ground beef and toss it in!) or make some meatballs. Plus, you get meatball heroes for the next day.

Easy meatballs

1 lb ground beef
1 cub of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
one egg
a little garlic and onion powder
a dash of Worcestershire sauce

combine and brown in a little bit of oil. Place in a baking dish with some sauce on the bottom and bake for about 30 minutes. Recipe will make about 12 medium sized meatballs.

The usual standards are garlic bread and salad Spaghetti is heavy so you don't need alot of extras. Then just have a
desert....whatever you think your guy would like best. Store
bought bakery would work just fine. Keep it simple so you can enjoy the dinner too.

Antipasto salad, garlic bread, and maybe if your up to it, some meat balls for the spaghetti? How about Italian Ice for dessert?

Caesar salad (bag of romaine hearts, croutons, freshly grated parmasaen cheese-not the stuff from the can-& Marie's Caesar dressing), Texas toast (found with the frozen breads) or bread sticks. Serve biscotti (find in the bakery or on the cookie aisle) with ice cream for dessert.

Lucky boyfriend.

i would also say garlic with or without cheese bread, and or salad.
Or you could just get a fresh french loaf or bagette

parmesean cheese for topping the spaghetti sauce and dried chile pepper flakes

Salad always goes great with spagetti!
Also you could butter some bread, and toast it!!YUM
Garlic bread is the best, but maybe you don't want to use the "garlic "taste this time!

I like to make garlic bread and potato salad with spaghetti. Sometimes I make a green salad and corn. All of these choices are good.

how about a green salad with a mustard vinagrette (1 tbsp dijon mustard, 2 tbsp lemon juice and 3 tbsp olive oil, whisked together) topped with some toasted walnut pieces, and maybe some crostini (grill some slices of bread, top with a drizzle of oil, fresh mozarrella and tomato slices, basil, salt and pepper and some more olive oil).
