It's either $1.99 or $3.49 depending on where you live. It is sold only at Trader Joe's food stores, therefore you can't buy it online.

It is actually called Charles Shaw Wine and it comes in several varieties. It is made exclusively for Trader Joe's. I think the only stores that sell it for 1.99 a bottle are in California, however, the name two buck chuck has stuck everywhere there is a Trader Joe's. I know there a several Trader Joe's in Arizona and in Nevada and lots in California. Their wine is surprisingly good for the price. We usually pick up several cases it makes great gifts for the drinkers on our lists. You can check out their web site on line. www.traderjoes.com to see if they have one near you. Don't just check out the wine though, the have organic food and so many delicious herbs and spices and trail mixes and marinades and hard to find items it is a store that you could spend hours in. I love Trader Joe's it is a blast there they have every thing from apples to wasabi. Check it out you will love it! I am not sure about shipping as shipping to some states is still considered boot legging, unless it comes directly from the winery and you were there to buy it.

Charles Shaw wines are sold in Trader Joe's.
Due to differences in taxes, etc., it's as much as $4 in some areas.
The link below shows Trader Joe's locations.

RE:
Where can I get the wine, Two Buck Chuck?
Is it really just two dollars? Is it good? And can it be bought via the internet and shipped to me? I haven't seen it in my area.

It is $ 1.99 plus taxes in California, $ 2.99 plus taxes in most east coast states (but no tax in MA - whoopee!), and varies in price in other states depending on the state tax levels. It is sold only at licensed Trader Joe's stores. In my judgement, of the varieties the Sauvignon Blanc is the best.
Even better however is TJ's "3 Buck Moe" line - the J.W. Morris label - at a dollar more. Also outstanding values are its controlled brands of jerezes and oportos (real sherries and ports).
To learn of the nearest Trader Joe's to you licensed to sell wine check out TJ's website.

two buck chuck aka Charles Shaw is sold in health food stores known as trader joe's- if you are in the Columbus, Ohio area we have a few.
the price has gone up- 3.39 for a bottle- but it is still a good deal, esp. of the quality!
I have never tried to purchase it online, but perhaps trader joe's has a website.
good luck!

it is only sold at trader joe's. It is a private label for TJs by Bronco Wine Co. in MOdesto, CA. though it does masquerade under the Sea Ridge, JW MOrris and a variety of other names.

2 dollars are not a risk, or maybe a very small one. I have drunk a lot of 2-buck jugs; they were quite good. Try Golden Gates Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay or Charles Shaw.

The odd thing about 2BC -- I used to love it. It inspired me to drink more wine with food, a healthy thing to do and very enjoyable. Then my partner and I started branching out to other wines, vitising wineries on vacation, and learning more about it. Eventually I came to the conclusion that 2BC isn't very good. It tastes like.... wine. Nothing else. No fresh fruit like a Beaujolais Nouveau, no pepper like a good Zinfandel, no cherries and blackberries like in a Shiraz/Sirrah.
