In my humble opinion, Brandon, I would recommend the Jeep Grand Cherokee for the best , trouble free choice in this group. Just make sure and have it checked out by an expert for problems before your purchase.

Consumer Reports magazine publishes an annual report of the best and worst used cars, based on reliability reports from actual owners. One report is one called "Vehicles to Avoid" -- the worst. All of the vehicles you list are on the report except the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the BMW 318i. Even those two are not on their recommended list. How about a much more reliable Japanese brand such as Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Infiniti, or Mazda?

Avoid the BMWs and Audis they are pretty pricey for maintanence and you can be pretty sure they will be needing some in the years you are looking at. Jeeps are a great choice, the 4.0l engines are one of the best ever made and they are one of the best values in the market. Consider the Cherokee as well, maybe not as many features, but less to go wrong as well.

Gee Brandon, why don't you figure out if you want a luxury car an SUV or a Jeep first and that should help narrow your choices.

There's a vast difference between a Cadillac and a Jeep Cherokee. Which one would you rather drive.

None of the cars you listed are particularly nice. If you want a luxury car, you might want to look into Acura or Lexus.
