I can't run! Help i really want to learn how to condition myself to run long distance without feeling like a shlump. I'm not over weight and i just can't figure it out! i want to run!

Pace yourself, try walking to warm up. Jog just a bit and then walk. Start out slow and then progressively increase your distance. After a few weeks you will see the progress, this will also encourage you to eat better and feel better.

How fast are you running? Nobody can sprint for long distances. Start slow(jog) and work up in speed as you get conditioned. Also, the amount of heat you run in will affect how quickly you get tired. Cooler (50's-60's) weather is better.

And if you have asthma or if you smoke that can have an affect on why you get tired quickly.

There are several reasons. Either you are severely dehydrated, you are out of shape and possess little to no stamina, you are eating foods which are making you logy because you haven't allowed them to digest properly, or perhaps you have a respiratory/other medical problem. If you want to gain stamina you have to practice your breathing technique, as well as constantly run or jog.

You are out of shape. Try jogging half a block then walk half a block the repeat. Each time you jog, jog a bit more & walk a bit less.

GIVE IT TIME, YOU CANT RUN 2 MILES OVER NIGHT. START BY RUNING ALITTLE AT A TIME THEN WORKING YOUR WAY UP. EXAMPLE: FOR EVERY 3-4 MINUTES OF RUNING WALK 1MIN. DO THAT FOR A COUPLE DAYS THEN FOR EVERY 5-7 MIN. RUNING WALK 1MIN. DO THAT FOR ABOUT 3-4WEEKS THEN TRY JOGING 1 MILE AT A TIME. ASLO A NOTHER EXAMPLE: TRY RUNING WITH THE TELEPHONE POLES FOR EVERY 2-3POLES WALK ONE. ALSO GET A MP3 PLAYER TO TAKE YOUR CONSURTATION OFF OF YOUR BODY PAIN.
