I actually am probably one of very few that actually was thankful that the race started back up and that Greg Biffle won even though I would have loved to see Clint Bowyer win. It would have been a storybook performance had he won as being the hometown favorite and not living very far from the track to begin with. Now with all that being said, I think that everyone is upset that Tony Stewart came into all that bad luck and I feel sorry for him, but being a Jeff Gordon fan, I am glad that he finished 5th instead of 30th, which is where he would have finished had the race been called. The championship standings would also look much different and I personally prefer how they look now compared to what they would have looked like during the rain delay. I thought it was a great race, despite what others thought about the race.

Good one nf31! "Somewhere over the rainbow" is right. At least they're "not in Kansas anymore"...What a mess they turned that into! Maybe NASCAR got caught up in some tornado or something that totally scrambled their "brains"? Thank goodness it's over!

Well it was Kansas, and only the strong got to follow the yellow brick road and see the Wizard!!! Then they clicked their heels and said lets get the F out of here!!!! lol
Although, the Perfect Storm is now starting to form over Talladega speedway and who will stay afloat?

More like in the gutter and down the drain. A total wash out, leaving me to wonder about a lot of things.

it was a mess, wasn't it????
between the rain delays & the wrecks it was a loooong day.
I was riding with our driver Jeff when his fuel pump went out (Directtv hotpass) he was not a happy camper....I ended up riding with 4 drivers because everytime someone broke or got wrecked they switched to another driver!! I rode with the 31, 29, 20 and ended up with the 07 who was closing in on Biffle!!! Crazy day for sure.....
GO RCR!!!! GO 31!!!! GO 07!!!!! GO 29!!!!

I liked the race, I think without the rain this could have been one of the best of the year. But the way it ended was typical. Tony getting mad, whiners whining and controversy on Biffle winning is great.
Nothing should ever be taken for granted.
Now, we go to Talladega...the Demolition Derby 500 :)
We will see just how "tough" the C.O.T. really is............
