Pink gold, sometimes called rose gold or red gold, is a gold alloy where the amount of silver has been reduced and the amount of copper has been increased. So, pink gold is really gold with copper added to give it a special rose color.

Rose gold is also called pink gold. it is popular for watches now. 18 karat yellow gold is made in 2N or 3N types. 2N used in the USA is 75% gold with 15% silver and 10% copper. 3N used in Europe is 75% gold, 13% silver and 12% copper. Red gold is 75% gold with 25% copper and no silver. Rose or pink gold is between 3N and red gold in color. It probably has 75% gold, 18% copper and 7% silver.
