In the United States, we typically ship about 9000 gallons (34,000 litres) per shipment. This is primarily a function of roadway weight limitations more t han volume constraints. There are a few areas where we are allowed to haul almost 12,000 (45K L) gallons and others where we are limited to about 7500 gallons (28K L). The lower limits are primarily in larger cities where bridges and older roads limit how much the trucks can weigh.

Diesel volumes are lower because of diesel's higher weight per gallon.

I'm pretty sure in our company, our UK tankers have similar limits on weight, so these are a good guide.

To address John Paul's comment about midgrade, it depends on the type of pump at the station. Blending dispensers can mix at the pump, but traditional dispensers don't and midgrade is blended at the loading rack.

Circa 40,000 litres. Tanker capacity usually subdivided so that it can carry a mixture of different fuel types.

Many times they are divided into three seperate tanks premuim petrol regular petrol and diesel. Mid grade fuel is mixed at the fuel pump at the station. I would suspect 6,000 gallons or 22,706 liters

The exact capacity depends on the trailer design, but usually between 28,000 and 37,000 litres.

About a minute & a half. When I was in band, we had to do breathing techniques so we could gain better lung expansion. Breathe in for 4 beats, breathe out for 4 beats. Breathe in for 8 beats, breathe out for 8 beats. Breathe in for 12 beats, breathe out for 12 beats.. & just keep going.. You get the point.
