sounds like you are in the samesituation i was in. it has taken me a life time to find a good woman. you just have to keep looking and praying to God that the person you are looking for crosses your path in life. mine finally did and she is in the phillippines.now i am trying to get thereto be married. she is a beautiful person inside and out. yours will come along ,just have patients.

I'm betting for the same reasons I have problems finding a nice and serious straight girl. My standards are probably too high, I'm not looking in the right places, and on top of it all, I am too hesitant to ask when I do meet one, because it's usually at work or some other place I feel it's not appropriate to pursue someone.
Since this question gets asked a lot, I'm sure plenty of other people have this problem too. I think the answer is to examine your patterns of behavior, see what you might be doing wrong, either in dismissing people that could be good choices or in looking in the wrong places for good people, and start trying to make a change. Your behavior is what you have control over, so work with that. Also, you need to take a really serious, honest look at how you're acting if you want to change for the better.
Edit: Nursebubbles, not to pick on you or anything, but this is the sort of post I was trying to address. You might be entirely correct and just been unlucky so far, I don't know. I do have to wonder when you mention "weirdos" though. Are these guys with serious problems, or do they just have an unusual hobby or minor quirk? I'm not trying to say that people shouldn't have standards, just that I know some people have unrealistic standards and especially some women have a tendency to look for a "fairy tale romance" that no man can live up to.

Where are all the decent, kind and thoughtful straight single MEN in S/E Victoria (Aust) between the ages of 25- 35?
I am just about ready to give up and settle that the only man in my life is my dog. : ( so sad then I'll turn into the crazy cat lady. although I'm allergic and that might not be a good idea.

I'm not I'm just sick of only finding the weirdos, stalkers and creeps, and then of course you have the a**holes, and d!ck heads and your garden variety scum bags. oh and did i mention the cheaters, the farther of 6 kids to 5 different mothers and the divorcees still hung up on their ex wives?
I am sick of them. I've done my time, and enough is enough
come on guys you can't all be that bad.
You good ones need to come out of hiding. i know I'm not the only woman around who would appreciate knowing you still exist out in the wilderness and we don't have to go to a zoo to see you
any men that did NOT fit the above criteria of being an asshole etc please tell me where i can find you.

Girl i always ask myself this question because the guys i come accrose are all jerks!!! all they want is sex and or there very bad.And the type of guy i want is someone i can trust on and know he's loving but yeah those kind of guys are taking or either its my destiny that i cant find any nice guys here : (
