Surely if you are psychic then you should already know??

Well, I'm not psychic and I like to go to them, so I like to know!

Psychic fairs are for folk to go and see psychics, it's not FOR psychics. Just as pig farms aren't run by pigs.

The people who give the readings might be expected to know (although it does not work like that), but the clients don't. Like any other money-making event, advertising is necessary to bring in customers.

BTW, I worked at a couple of psychic fairs back in the 1970s in San Francisco. I had already been reading Tarot cards for several years at that time, had made a serious study, and knew a good bit about them. I was absolutely appalled by the fakery and just ignorance I saw there, all being paid the same fees (or even more!) as someone like myself who had made a serious study. Now that I've had all that time in between to study and to read the cards, I don't go to fairs. How would a client know which of us is knowledgeable and which has just read the little booklet that came with the deck they bought only a couple of weeks ago? I only do private readings now.

I'm sorry, but your 'cute joke' doesn't work. I am a 'psychic' but my 'talents' are not 'fortelling the general future' ... and most psychics, if any, don't have that talent. I can tell when any person or animal is going to die within 24 hours with a 95% accuracy (yes, I've had it tested) ... even by just seeing a 'missing' ad on paper or television (it doesn't work via radio with me for some unknown reason). I don't 'advertise' nor would I want to go to a psychic fair ...
By the way, your 'misspelling' COULD mean 'the amounts psychics charge for their services' ... which also makes your question ridiculous ... because only 'non-psychics' would want to pay the psychic for their services.

And do they know in advance how many people will turn up. And at the risk of upsetting the "psychics" out there even further, sorry but your ability is a load of bollix.
