I'm going out to walk the dog and make supper ... meaning, everlasting life or imminent death, this is what I'll have to do anyway. A nice long walk and a tasty supper !

Today, whilst working at my day job, I will try to start an essay or story. For the short hour I have with my family for dinner I will give them as much love as I can. I will kiss my gal and hug my sons and go to the night job. When I get home I will whisper softly to my sleeping woman. There will be a visit to both boys’ rooms to see that they are tucked well in. Both will receive stealthy a kiss on the forehead. Back in the home office I will be up till midnight weaving words together.

After all this is done, I will lay alone in the dark sleeping house. Out side there will probably be the hushed sound of Wisconsin’s gentle autumn rain. My eyes will close and the Earth will turn its shadowed side under the veil of hidden stars.

I love you, not because I know you, because I want something from you, or because you look, act, or think like me..I love you because you are alive, you are sharing this time on earth with me, you are experiencing the sun's rises, the moon's phases, the coming of the tides. You, unlike billions of people that have died, and billions more that are unborn...you are hear, able to know happiness, able to acheive dreams, and able to love and be loved. Now, all you got to do is love and appreciate yourself and all the opportunities that life has for you.

Honestly, my routine today is not going to be much different than any other day. I will work on some drawings, perhaps get out some with the dogs, try and finish an article for an art publication, and maybe get in some sleep, since chronic insomnia robs me of rest.

Do I feel bad at not having a life-defining day? Not at all.

Sometimes an ordinary day is the best it can get.

Today.. I'm going to do a whole bunch of homework/schoolwork, study for a Macroeconomics test, and then buy a pair of slippers!

But.. James Dean didn't quote that. I can't remember who did.. but it wasn't James Dean.

Since I have most of my day wasted on this forum, it would have to be the second, because tomorrow I will have to work twice as hard, if I don't die today of course.
