I would keep them in the fridge as it keeps them firm. The flesh can go a bit soggy, lose the bite, very quickly if they are in a warm environment. They won't you any harm but they won't taste as good. If you have to take them out the fridge sit them in a bowl of ice.

No! Seafood should not be left out of the fridge, if you are cooking something, leave them in the fridge and put them in your cooking at the last minute, (they are cooked, so all they need is warming a little) if you cook them again, they will go like rubber......Ughhhhh

No.
They will breed bacteria. Leave them in the fridge until you are ready to use them.
I've tried leaving prawns out from the fridge for 30 mins and they turned bad with fishy odour.

If they're pre-cooked, then why are you going to cook them again? They'll end up like chewy lumps of rubber........Do you mean you're going to re-heat them????
Keep them in the fridge, or on ice & covered with a tea towel.
Prawns tend to go off pretty quickly ;-)
