Could be an illness, could be something more serious..

Or he could just not like that flavor. All pets can develop of preference for a certain type of food. Of course they'll eventually eat anything if they're hungry enough but if they don't like the smell or taste they'll keep away from it for as long as they can.

Try switching foods a few times, but if that still doesn't work take the dog in for a check up.

He is either sick, depressed, spoiled, or simply not hungry. A sick dog might not feel up to eating. When one of my dogs died, my other one missed her so much that he stopped eating. Some dogs won't eat if they are not hungry (although many will anyway!). And if your dog is spoiled and only wants table scraps or something, he won't eat.

I'll tell you that as soon as you tell me why the kid at the next table when I was eating dinner last night didnt eat his burger.

When you ask a question, it has to include enough information that people can form an intelligent response.

My Basset Hound does that sometimes...he will just eat it when he is ready. Dogs are like kids...they will eat when they are hungry...never forced them to eat or they may become obese.
