get to a doctor as soon as you can. The bad news is that this can be a sign of cancer but the good news is that you probably caught it soon enough to make a full recovery!! Good luck and prayers for you!!

If you're thinking of a cancer, lymphoma or leukemia if anything. But probably not. A swollen lymph node under the armpit is usually caused by things such as infection. Simple things such as common colds can cause them. They can also arise from certain autoimmune diseases if they just come randomly and aren't a result of something more common like an infectious disease. But it probably isn't an autoimmune disease unless you are having other autoimmune related symptoms. It also may not be a swollen lymph node at all. It's probably a cyst. Or it could even be an ingrown hair or an infected sweat gland. Or maybe a skin condition called Hidradenitis suppurativa if they are painful. You didn't mention whether or not they are painful.

hello Tammy,
when was the last time you got your mammogram or a ultrasound ? you do need to see a physician for your yearly physical..... if you did get your physical recently and nothing was found, more than likely you are now experiencing Fibrocystic breast tissue, swollen painful armpit lump, hurt all over symptoms..... you may need medication for that infection since you've had the symptoms for 2 months.
Good luck dear !

You need to seek a professional doctor's opinion to ensure that it's nothing serious. If health insurance is an issue, then contact your local health department to see about a health clinic that you can go to. It's important to see someone immediately about your concern. Best of luck

Looks like everyone agrees, as do I. Get to your doctor and schedule a mammogram ASAP. I will pray for you that it is ok, but time is very important with this. Good Luck

Go to your doctor NOW. It might be swollen milk ducts. Or possibly a cancer. But the important thing is if it's caught early - you stand every chance of making a complete recovery. Please go. Bring a supportive friend. But go. Don't put it off.
