I've read the ingredients of most conventional formulas. It's scary, as they're filled with unpronouceable stuff. Some even have corn syrup in them. Corn syrup and the rest of the stuff in formula is not natural. Not only is almost everything I eat healthy and as close as possible to what God made it, but breastfeeding is also the best possible food for babies. For me, it was the only choice. When my doctor asked if it was okay for formula to be supplemented in the hospital, if needed, I asked if soy was available and he said yes. My doctor does not know I'm vegan, but at a visit, he did ask what I was planning on doing. He had made the comment about the expense of formula, but I did not get a chance to really state my beliefs-- God makes breastmilk, not formula.
My husband understands the new function of my breasts. After seeing me go through pregnancy and childbirth, he is just in further awe of my body and what God has created it and me to do.

my husband would agree with you, but financially it was a saver for our family. So you will like him have to get over it and offer to spend time doing other things like rocking the baby to sleep or just spend time talking to the baby to bond with it.
