There is some very peculiar stuff in Exodus and Leviticus and some which is quite sensible. Some of it reads like magic ritual though.

It may have been based on Egyptian ritual. Moses' portable temple has the same layout as Egyptian temples.

Do not forget Matt.3:16,17; The voice from heaven is saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Adam and Eve heard the voice as did all the prophets, and Daniel and I am sure most all would act as Daniel did, if you had no psychological problems at all, you are the last person to know it.

How can it be insanity when everything God told Moses came to pass? I refer for example to the many plagues in Egypt, the Nile turning to blood, the freedom of the slaves.
Satan, you know the truth. You will not succeed in trying to mislead those who love Christ. We know you are the Father of all Lies.

definite, God/faith is obviously a psychological choose for many folk to handle this super vast frightening universe we are living in. i do no longer think in a god and that i do no longer locate this universe to be frightening. i think of we are able to administration our destiny to 3 quantity with the aid of the attempt we positioned forth to make to our liking. we will not administration climate, injuries or loss of life, yet that could be a given and as quickly as someone realizes that that is going to become glaring how fruitless that is to rigidity approximately such issues. i do no longer seem forward to dieing, yet i do no longer concern loss of life because of the fact I somewhat have accepted that that could be a organic component to living. in case you seem at it logically there's no longer something to concern, because of the fact that is absurd to rigidity a pair of time once you will no longer additionally be you to any extent further. i think of all of it boils all the way down to the way people manage the inevitable. some people (believers) think of they have thoughts, whilst others (atheists) somewhat understand the authentic meaning of "inevitable", as a result understand their basically selection is to settle for it whether or no longer they like it or no longer.
