"Whoever seeks chastity Allaah will make him chaste, and whoever seeks help from none but Allaah, He will help him, and whoever is patient He will make it easy for him, and no one has ever been given anything better than patience." Bukhari:1469.
Repenting, asking forgiveness from Allaah, doing good deeds, and not losing hope and feeling despair are all prerequisites to cure your problem. Note that losing hope is one of the major sins punishable by Allaah.
one should not overreact and swear by Allaah not to return to the act because if one does not honor one’s promise, one would be facing the consequences of not living up to one’s oath to Allaah.
Allaah is the Most Merciful and He always responds to whoever calls on Him. So, asking for Allah’s forgiveness will be accepted, by His will. Wallahu a’lam. And Allah knows what is best and most correct.

As the famous hadith from the Prophet(pbuh) says: kullu bani aadama khataa’, wa kheiru khataa’een at-tawwabeen.
All of the children of Adam commit sins, and the best of the sinners are the repenters.
You need to admit to yourself that what u did is haraam.
Repent
and promise never to return to it again.
If you are sincere, then why would Allah Almighty not forgive you?
Also, we are saying these things not knowing what you actually did, so if you killed someone lol, i guess you would need to be punished for it in this life.

Forgiveness can only be given by God. Not a god Muhammad made up. God revealed Himself to us in the Bible not the Koran which he also invented.
The Islamic religion was invented by Muhammad to solve some problems that he saw around him. One how to live off of others and make them pay for it. His first wife was rich and much older then him. After he married bless his holy name, he did not have to work and could come up with other ideas like how to start a religion. He then married more women and had sex more often which worked for a while. Then he desired young girls. He married a six year old and nice of him waited until she was nine to start having sex with her. His example was very exciting to his male followers so they really got behind this new faith. Then he suggested that if anyone was the least bit critical it was a good idea to kill them. Islam is not a religion of peace never has been and can not be put off as such even if they help the poor. It is not hard to look around as see the truth.
Why don't they come out of it? If they try they are threatened with death. For I read it my self in the Koran. If anyone leaves the faith their family is supposed to put them to death, and they do to this day.
Lets get the grip on this thing. Check out what I am saying you will find I am right. Read the Koran and Muslim history. Those who are in it are ignorant of the facts or they like being on the end of those who benefit from womanizing and abuse.

Allah can forgive you if your sins are as vast as the oceans.
True repentance and a commitment not to do it again is all he needs.
If you are in bad company then leave them and find good people to be with.
Even after getting forgiveness, if you falter and sin, then again ask forgiveness and try harder to stay away with more sacrifice and all the sins will be forigiven.
Allah is the most merciful and he created us imperfect so he wants us to come to him with a lowly heart.

Sister if you have committed a sinful act, then repent to Allah subhaan wa'atalah by asking for forgiveness, and doing other good deeds like giving zakat and fasting voluntarily. But ultimately, what I always say is that the best way to show Allah that you are remorseful for your bad deeds, is to refrain from ever committing that sin again.

Don't do the sin period. If you've already done it, then ask for His forgiveness and stay away from it. Don't forget that Allah is The Merciful.

I'm not a muslim, but considering that Muslims and Christians worship the same God, I can assure you that God will forgive a person who repents and really sets their lives to not making the same mistake again. After all God has made us and he knows that we're imperfect. Unless you've knowingly killed someone, He's going to forgive you, I'm sure.

Its normal to sin, infact its not normal not to sin,
and God forgives for sins when one sincerely repents to Him.
Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. (Holy Quran:39:53)
Allah (SWT),who named Himself Ar-Rahman (The Beneficent) and Ar-Rahim (The Merciful) is also Al-Ghafoor (The Forgiving). His Mercy overtakes His punishment and anger. He is more merciful to His creations than a mother can be to her infants. He created "man with weakness"; thus He knows and we should know that "to err is human," and "no one is perfect."
"Forgiveness is only incumbent on Allah towards those who do evil out of ignorance and then turn quickly (in repentance) to Allah. Toward them will Allah turn in mercy; for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom." (4:17)
"Forgiveness is not for those who do ill until death faces one of them, who then says, 'Lo! I repent now, nor for those who die as disbelievers, for such we have prepared a painful doom.'" (4:18)
