Too often, we try to "FIX THINGS", and the more we work
at it, the bigger the mess it becomes. Isa 30:7, I really do
believe is speaking to us today; "For the Egyptians shall
help in vain, and to no purpose: THEREFORE have I cried
concerning this, THEIR STRENGTH IS TO SIT STILL".
In another place, we are told to be still & know that I AM
GOD. It is the nature of our flesh man to try to fix it, but
God is the FIXER.
Thanks for the uplifting thoughts for this day "The Lord has
made".

Oh yes.. one of the things God tells us is to remember to BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD> Even God rested, remember? To be out amongst the beauty of the things God created, to breathe in that fresh air and take in the aromas of all that beauty, to see all of the beauty in its spelndor, to know it, feel it, touch it, breathe it all in, and just KNOW God is there in the midst of it all with us, that is just a small slice of Heaven before we even get to Heaven. The next leaf that blows, watch it, study it, and see the beauty thats there in each little movement. Dont be so busy in life that you truly cant take the time to smell the roses and remember that God made them all.
Each sunset is like a handwritten signature from God, just saying I told you I love you. I will be back.
Each rainbow says I willl never leave you .
Its all jsut there, if we would just look up and see.
As the wind blows upon your face, feel Gods han there, touching you and calling to you, BE my Child.
As we see the beautiful flowers He created and smell the richness of aroma from each one, know only He made these for us all. Stand up, raise your hands to the heavenlies and say Thank you GOD, Now what can I do for you this morning??????
I raise plants and flowers and its a real love for me. I can tell you I have never seen two exactly alike.
God loves us all, LEts all love HIm back, enough to do as He says. HE commands us to love and obey Him. are we doing that? Answer the full call of God. And in moments of incredible silence, this is when we will often hear the most from Him. Hear His voice and KNOW. God bless you.

Oh Bethy......
I remember when I first learned how to be still. As a mother with three young girls, a hectic career, a traveling husband who was often hundreds of miles away. There was always something on my "to do" list......most of it important. In those days, it seemed like daily Bible reading was often just something else I had to do. Then I saw it late in the night, after the kids were in bed........"Be still and know that I am Lord", what a relief it was! It has served me well to "be still" and reflect on His promises and comforts.

With thoughts like this, how can I be still? If I didn't say something the rocks around me would, and there just isn't going to be any talking rocks around me.Praise God !!!!
Luke 19:40 "And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."

"Be still, and know that I am God"
Silence before the Lord lets in all sorts of beauty. All He has made is enhanced in our senses, His Words are as honey to our lips. His Presence is precious. All praise to our wonderful Creator.

Yes, being still is very important in our lives to
listen to the Lord and be cleased of the curse
of sin, to be near to God - to be still from all
the oppression and confusion of the world
for a moment - to see and hear what we
need to!

The way in which I "be still," is to look into a night time sky filled with God's glorious creation. While doing that, it is not possible for me to think of anything else.

Picking up your cross daily and following
after Jesus is a test of your faith.
for the scripture say we walk by faith not by sight.
when trials come upon you to make you weak, really
that's when you are made strong in Christ.
and no wiggling on the cross.
Overcomer can be still in Christ Jesus.
