Christians, imagine the following scenario: A group of radical Muslims with links to Al Queda drive a van to an elementary school in the U.S. armed with machine guns and bombs. They reach the school and as soon as they get out of the van they are in, they are all shot in the head and killed. The FBI investigates, but no one witnessed anyone shoot at the terrorists and no government agency or individual admits to shooting the terrorists. Why is it that you would not suspect that God himself pulled the trigger?

You've been brainwashed by the news well I must say to come up w/ this non logical idea.
First off, no such thing as "al queda". Study up on the CIA and over seas operations from the 60's and 70's and you might start to understand what is really going on.
Turn off the TV... its propaganda to brainwash you. And from the " what if Muslims in USA w/ van, guns did this to kids" PROVES you have been brainwashed.
Still think a few guys in caves pulled off 9/11 too?

I am always skeptical of someone explaining a physical event with a metaphysical cause. Don't get me wrong, I believe in God, but I couldn't imagine God stepping in on this situation when He has allowed so many others to happen. I would call it a miracle that SOMEONE pulled the trigger, and I would attribute such a miracle to God, but I wouldn't say God did it.

I don't know that I wouldn't. Read some of the psalms. God protects His Children. And in case someone says but God is a Loving God YES He is AA Mighty Loving God He also protects his Children. He takes the enemies of His and His children and He takes care of them. As a Mother (or father) could anyone stand by and allow some terrorist to shoot their children that way? God's Super to our natural is something that happens everyday.

I'd never even entertain the idea that God did it, not even as some miracle attributable to one of the Heavenly Host. I would
the more believe that some person did it and they got away with it; I'd believe that it would go into the America's Unsolved Mystery files... it would simply remain "whodunnit".

God could've been more subtle, like having their car break down, or pulled over, or given the driver a heart attack. If you believe god has control over those kinds of things, which I don't.

if lack of witnesses means that the Christian god is behind it, then by extension one attributes all unsolvable deaths on him? I am attempting to follow your logic here.
The Christian god does not have a track record of using firearms in any accounts atrributed to him or his standard modus operandi, although some of his followers do.
