hey lucky charm! why are you sounding so depressed? INSHALLAH you will not after my answer. prayers were given by GOD as a tool for you to express and restore your faith in HIM. when what we have asked for coincides with what GOD has wanted for us, we feel that our prayers have been answered. whereas when the two don't coincide we feel he DID'NT answer our prayers. dear, if you really have faith in GOD then your faith should be that HE will give me what HE is best for me. in QURAAN ALLAH has said that he loves us 17,000 times more than our mothers. this example was given as mothers are considered to be the one who love us the unconditionally and the most of all. hence HE says, i love you even more than them. can HE who loves us so much go wrong in decisions pertaining to us. NO! so next time you pray your words should be "OH LORD! DO WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST IN MY INTEREST AND I TRUST YOU UNCONDITIONALLY" you will notice that you start seeing good in whatever you get and you will stop complaining. by the way, ALLAH says, 'I LIKE TO BE THANKED"

Whether yu pary or not , your life will be what it is destined to be .
The Christian dies , the Muslim dies , The Hindu dies , The
Jain dies , The Sikh dies , all these people also suffer from all the diseases that any other man of any other religion suffers .Many people pray and all those who pray do not get any relief and many do not pray and all those who do not pray are not goig without relief .
If wishes were horses ,then beggers woud ride .If paryer could fetch anything nobody in the world would suffer .Even Jesus prayed .but he as not spared of the cross .Assuming but not admioteing that he was the holiest man and not a sinner ,Hois prayer to god did not fertch him any reliefe or answer to his question "Eli, eli . lama sabasthanani?.".So strictly speaking and honestoly spoeaking and not lyig , paryer is not at all answered by 'god .
But it is a fact that for thse who blinf=dly believ ha tit fethes something ,their mind ios at peace and it finds some relief from ther agony and tnheir distress .Tha ti stheir mind feels arelieved thoughreally their distress is not really overcome . so it has a beneficial psychologicl efect on he mind which alone feels pleasure and pain.

First of all, yes he answers all prayers. But to get his attention you must use his name. Just like anyone else, use his given name, "Jehovah", and pray through his son Jesus. Those are the basics.
Next consider how your prayers will affect others around you.
This will have a bearing on what to expect from a given prayer.
Don't use beads and mechanical things or idols as these are offensive to him.
You must talk to him as if he were your much loved parents.
But remember your discussing you, with your maker.
Your interests are one of his prime concerns. They are NOT trivial to him.
Yes he does answer prayers, and he wants you to be spiritually clean, so ask him for forgiveness and feel that he has! Then approach him with other prayers.
From my own stand point, I often cry while praying, I get emotional when I talk with him because he answers so many of my prayers in ways that I know aren't coincidence.........
Yes, I am one of his witnesses, and yes he does answer my prayers. And now you know why we have such strong faith in our living GOD.

A lot of times people just think that GOd don't answer their prayer. It is not that he doesn't answer their prayers, it is because the answer is a NO. God might have better plans for u !

It's a matter of perspective...personally, I believe he answers every one of our prayers...sometimes the answer is "no" and sometimes it is "not yet".

Remember what happened in the movie Bruce Almighty when Bruce (Jim Carrey) decided to "reply to all" emailed prayers with "Yes"...total chaos. When you pray, you have to accept that God can see the big picture...he is not going to give you something that will harm you or something that you're not ready to handle yet. My six year old wants a motorcycle and a Wii game system...I said "no" to the motorcycle (and that's a permanent no)...I said "not yet" to the Wii (perhaps for Christmas???).

God does answer ALL prayers. Sometimes He says yes. Sometimes He says no. And sometimes He says wait. Like parents do.

St. Augustine says 3 reasons for our prayers not answered,
1. Less Faith
2. Sinful state (And not regretting for that)
3. GOD thinks that its not good for us or a better thing wait for us in his plan for us....

(Wait patiently.........)

God knows what is good for us.If our prayers are not answered then it may mean they are not beneficial to us. Once we pray to God we should leave the decision to Him.because He is a better judge.

Cause you asked for something that's bad. Like a truckload of chocolate, if you get that you'd become fat, unhealthy and develop acne. Some wishes are just no good.
